What Moves Us: Compassion: A Foundation for Faith? in Camp Springs, Prince George’s, Maryland

June 17, 2010

Wed June 23, 7:30 – 9 PM, What Moves Us: Unitarian Universalist Theology adult education class. Compassion: A Foundation for Faith?

During this month’s theological conversation, we will consider the theology of George de Benneville who was a medical doctor, a writer, an advocate for Native American rights, a Universalist theologian-and a friend to such founding fathers as Benjamin Franklin and Benjamin Rush. George de Benneville articulated a message of compassion, stating that “My happiness will be incomplete while one creature remains miserable.” Does that work for us anymore?

Child care available, but call in advance to make sure.
